ModelTech - A-TBA, is an advanced and specially formulated tyre bonding treatment/cleaner preparation. Suitable for all makes of R/C Car molded rubber tyres, both on-road and off-road, and all makes of wheels. It will clean all the release agents from the surface of the tyres and the wheels, while at the same time applying a treatment that will improve the mechanical adhesion of the tyre glue to the wheel. It is simple to apply and use, requires less glue to make a better bond and the bond is far stronger and more reliable than those made without it. A-TBA also prepares the surface of the tyre by cleaning off all the unwanted residues and chemicals that are present after the molding process.

Testing has shown that using A-TBA can be beneficial to your pocket! Wheels and tyres that have been mounted using A-TBA preparation can easily be separated by just boiling the wheel in water for about 5 minutes - the tyres will just peel straight off without any burnt fingers! or pressure, they just simply fall off and the wheels used again, and again and again!

If A-TBA is used with ModelTech's Carbon Graphite wheel rims, there is absolutely no damage to the rim after boiling, no softening of the rim, no deformation of the shape - it stays just as rigid and perfectly round and can be used again straight away. However have you boiled an "ordinary" plastic or nylon molded wheel to remove the tyre. The rim is totally unusable after as it turns almost jelly like!!!! The ModelTech Carbon Graphite wheels are guaranteed to remain as rigid after boiling as before - in fact boiling is actually good as it "normalizes" the wheels rim of any internal stress remaining from the molding process.

A-TBA "Advance Tyre Bonding Agent" is suitable for use with all molded rubber tyres and wheels, both on-road and off-road. The special formulation of A-TBA will ensure that the tyre beads are cleaned of all mold release agent and other residues that typically make gluing the tyre to the rims a problem. A-TBA increases the bond between the tyre and the wheel, uses less adhesive to make a stronger joint and makes tyre/rim separation a thing of the past. Simple to apply and use, just spray, fit and glue. What could be easier! A-TBA comes in a strong, 100ml fine spray container.
